We are utterly THRILLED, AMAZED and FLABBERGASTED to let you know that we won an award at the National Drama Festival!

Only 6 awards were given for “magical moments” over 14 productions in 4 days. We also had a wonderful video sent over from NDF Patron, Sir Derek Jacobi.

Amazingly, Lee Flewitt’s award-winning self-penned play “A WAKE” won an Exemplary Award for “Best Comedy Moment” – highlighting Cameron Watson and Ian Corder’s brilliant on-stage relationship during the beer-pouring scene.

The irony isn’t lost on us that not only have us folks from Alderney won an award for a comedy moment pouring a beer, but also that the award is shaped like a pint glass!

CONGRATULATIONS to our amazing Alderney Theatre Group cast and crew for a job truly well done. And of course, to everyone that helped them get there.

We shall share more on our return…but for now, time for a pint!!!!!
