For the past two years, the Alderney Theatre Group has successfully competed in the Guernsey GADOC One-Act Play Festival, bringing back trophies and prestigious awards for our entries and performances.

We hope that our entry for this year’s competition will turn out to be yet another winner.

“CHILD’S PLAY”

Two worlds collide in a new one-act play written by our most prolific author Lee Flewitt.

Elspeth loves her nursery full of toys, but the reality of her troubled home life is soon revealed through the games she plays.

Directed by Charlotte Newton and featuring a stellar cast from the Alderney Theatre Group of Ian Corder, Rosie Evans, Alex Flewitt, Lee Flewitt, Tobias Hanbury, Marie Roberts and 7-year old Willow Pycroft.

The Première of “CHILD’S PLAY” will be in Alderney on Wednesday 13 May. The following week it will be performed in Guernsey at the 2026 GADOC One-Act Play Festival.

There will be just two performances of this 30-minute long play and exceptionally there will not be a bar this time.

The performances start  at 7pm and 8pm sharp.
