FABARET – the amazing award-winning Eve Ferret performs in Alderney

THAT’S ENTERTAINMENT!

On Saturday evening 5 July, award-winning performer Eve Ferret will be entertaining Alderney residents and visitors with her highly acclaimed cabaret show “FABARET”.

Dubbed as the “Queen of Cabaret” , Eve Ferret is considered as one of the most original performers on the London stage today, likened to all the Marx Brothers at the same time – all except the silent one! Her performances comine a rollicking (yet tender) voice with bursts of surreal humour and infectious joie de vivre, an intoxicating mix of chaos and nostalgia.

Eve Ferret graduated from the seminal Blitz nightclub in the 1980’s to appearing alongside David Bowie in both his Grammy Award-winning Jazzin’for Blue Jean pop video and his movie Absolute Beginners, to starring in Hollywood movies Haunted Honeymoon with Gene Wilder, Ronald Neame’s Foreign Body, co-starring with Phil Daniels and Alun Armstrong in Billy the Kid and The Green Baize Vampire; and playing oposite the great Stanley Baxter in TV’s Mr. Majeika.

Eve will be accompanied by highly acclaimed pianist, composer and producer Simon Wallace.

This show is hosted by the Alderney Theatre Group. “Eve Ferret is brilliant and we are delighted to treat the audience to West End entertainment here in the Island Hall”, said Chairman Charlotte Newton.

Tickets £25 are now on sale at Anchors, but anybody currently off the island can email info@alderneytheatregroup.com to  reserve tickets.
