Alderney Theatre Group once again triumphs at the Guernsey One Act Play Festival!
Directed by new ATG Chair Charlotte Newton, the 6-strong cast featuring Lee Flewitt, Rosie Evans, Lucie Woodnutt, Ian Corder, Marie Roberts and Tobias Hanbury, gave a very convincing and highly entertaining performance at the 2025 Guernsey One Act Play Festival last week.

During the 35-minute show, the cast showed just how angry they were: McGowan (Lee Flewitt), was angry at his ex-wife, Polston (Lucy Woodnutt) was confused and more than angry, Knifton (Marie Roberts) was angry at being forgotten, Losh (Ian Corder) was angry at technology, and Ford (Tobias Hanbury) was angry at everything!Quite a challenge for anger management therapist Dr. Clarke (Rosie Evans)!
The enthusiastic response from the audience was a great boost for the cast, the director and the supporting crew Ronnie Cairnduff (lighting), Alex Flewitt (sound) and Clare Evans (costumes).
After two back to back performances in Alderney on Tuesday 20th May, just three days later on Friday 23 May, this 1-act comedy claimed the stage at Beau Sejour in Guernsey as the Alderney Theatre Group’s chosen entry for this year’s Guernsey One-Act Play Festival – and the challenge turned into success, reaping huge applause and awards for the cast, the director and the crew.
