WE ARE BEING SENT TO COVENTRY!
We are DELIGHTED to announce that Lee Flewitt’s award-winning play & the Alderney Theatre Group’s cast of ‘A Wake’ have been selected to perform the play at the NATIONAL DRAMA FESTIVAL in Coventry this July!
After receiving outstanding marks from the adjudicator and three trophies, they qualified to enter the NDA (held this year on on the 18th-21st July) in just 6 weeks’ time!
Firstly we want to congratulate the entire cast and crew on this huge accolade. The ATG Committee support them wholeheartedly in getting to Coventry but as we all know, living on Alderney means the journey is not always easy or cheap…and we need to raise £5000 to help get the 7 brilliant cast and Ronnie the Tech Whiz there.
Can our friends – our community – the good people of Alderney – help us showcase the wonderful talent Alderney has to offer and put our little island on the UK’s theatrical map?

Buy a ticket to see the final Alderney performance of “A Wake” at The Georgian on July 3rd – £10. There are only 60 seats available, so don’t delay and get your ticket now. This will be a fabulous evening of not just theatre but also, after the show, a stonking great raffle and musical/comedic entertainment from the cast! Donate or ‘sponsor an actor’ by popping some cash in the buckets located at Anchors or The Georgian on Victoria Street or London House at Braye Cutting.
