On Wednesday 15th and Thursday 16th May the world premiere of A WAKE, a one-act play written by Lee Flewitt, directed by Charlotte Newton and performed by a 7-strong cast, reaped massive applause from the audience at the Georgian House Orangery. Both nights were a sell-out and the big performance is on Friday 24th May at Beau Sejour in Guernsey, when Alderney will be entering this play for the 1-Act Play Festival…. and there’s every chance the cast will come back with an award.
